I would like to voice my own opinion regarding the use of marijuana.
Personally, this one substance has helped me with physical, psychological and emotional issues. The only thing not helped is migraine headaches. Without this drug I suffer from nerve/muscle pain constantly. It has gotten me through intense emotional pain after physical abuse from others. I have no appetite to speak of and this also helps here.
Unlike other drugs prescribed, I suffer no side effects except for an occasional high.
I have never moved on to any other so called recreational drug ever.
I am hoping this will help in the decision making process.

Right now, if any
Maj personnel were to be known as using Marijuana, they could receive internal penalties from detoxification programs all the way up to imprisionment. I am not talking about standard jails and prisons. They could be sent to an alphabet agency detention center, indefinitely. Only after pre-employment urine, blood and hair samples are returned CLEAN can we be offered a job inside
Maj. A simple admission of use, even without a sample showing positive, is enough to disqualify a person for sworn membership.
This gives me a perfect reason to say some things about how D and M act, an example from ufology. We have received many letters asking 'why should anyone trust that someone running
Maj will make the right decision and not continue a cover-up filled with lies about marijuana?'

D was just waiting for this to happen, with regard to Marijuana. He is a very patient man, just like the patience being shown with the public about full blown Disclosure. It's the best example I can provide! He has informed them what must be done to start the process and then he sat back and is waiting. All anyon or group needs to do is request a deposition, by an attorney which is pressing suit to COMPEL INFORMATION ONLY. That would get it started. He has already said that should such a thing happen, he would provide written documentation of a release for countersuit, so long as the action toward him was to COMPEL INFORMATION ONLY. I have 100% confidence in him because I watch him as he works and speaks with others. (It's a benefit of being in surveillance. I am about to give a true picture of the man named Dr. Dan. Soem may like it and some may not.
When the 4th. cowriter of the first Eagles Disobey was strickened with colon cancer that had already spread and didn't have long to live, the Albert (Butch) Howell's close family wanted to deprive him of all alcohol, cigarettes, and anything else not prescribed because they said it would be "bad for him."
The man was DYING and there was no way out.
Butch as he was known privately told D he wanted some Marijuana to ease the sickeness from the chemotherapy. In that year, in Nevada, possession of as much as 1 Marijuana seed was a FELONY. D said he didn't want to risk making the buy but still would if his close friend told him to do so. D was concerned as he used to be an officer with specialty in Narcotics inside the Departent of Parole and Probation. Butch said, "no" and that a close family friend who was living with them would do the buying. D brought in Butch's favorite spirit and a mixer, and smuggled cigarettes in too. D also acted as Butch's confidante, and Butch "confessed" ONLY to D. Butch made D
promise on his word that once he died that the most (if that) he wanted regarding his ashes was that D and M should say for him "Have fun, buddy!" and raise a mug of beer!
There was to be no service whatsoever! Butch also made his wishes known to his wife (now his widow).
On a daily basis, the family friend would supply D with the Marijuana and D would roll it for Butch and light it up for him, trying to remove some discomfort. On good days, D was asked to pour Butch a drink and light him a cigarette. He stood by his best buddy. At this same time, the Fiesta Hotel/Casino's Chief of Security, D's boss in that coverwork, was telling D to forget about Butch and called him a "weak link in the chain." At the time, D was in charge if a great safety program, one of his own design and one that the "Nevada OSHES" praised him over publicly. The Fiesta was privately owned at that time by G. Maloof. Later it was acquied by the Station Group of casinos.
D approached the owner of the Fiesta, Maloof, who told D that he 'didn't really give a 'fying fk' (in those words) about Butch and to "Go back to work!" (in those words)

That spelled the end of the somewhat tenuous relationship he had with Mr. Charles. He knew about Butch's wishes too. He is now believed to be dead. D stood by his friend, wth loyalty, and he was called a "traitor" and "no friend to Butch" for doing it! M did not attend either, because she was told the same things by Butch. This is the reason why Butch's photo (holding a lobster) is on the back of the first Eagles Disobey book, with the statement from D and M, and a quote from D:

You were the Strong link that held this oproject together, in the face of all adversity, to reveal the truth. We miss you and love you.
"Butch, I kept that promise I made to you. Until we meet again...love ya Brother!" -DanD's loyal Operatives arranged for a phoney schedule to be posted and D was transported to Sam's Town Hotel/Casino to meet with M. (Don't forget it would still be another 11 years from 1997 before D and M could openly be together.) That night, D and M raised a mug of beer and proudly abd loudly proclaimed,
"HAVE FUN, BUDDY!" and took a drink in his honor.
How about during the course of police duty,
TALKING JUST ABOUT MARIJUANA and its "products"? D, for certain worked as a Narcotics Officer. M worked closely with the First Nations, in Canada. This has to be put delicately, ok?
The savvy will understand:
In their prior police and security/surveillance careers,
-Neither D nor M have EVER initiated criminal charges
for Marijuana possession on the person, while booking a suspect.
-Neither D nor M have ever initiated criminal charges against a Native American, specifically a member of the First Nations, or any other member of indiginous peoples.
-When conducting searches of suspects, sometimes things are accidentally "missed."
-When speaking with suspects and persons of interest, who have not been arrested yet, sometimes such people are quick enough to dispose of evidence in places like a "toilet / privy" BEFORE Officers can secure the evidence for possible criminal charges.
